In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable email notifications for your Chatway live chat widget.
Step 1: Start by opening your Chatway dashboard and click on the settings icon on top of your Chatway profile picture in the bottom left corner:

Step 2: From the page that will open, click on Notifications.

Step 3: Finally, you can click on these email notification toggle buttons to enable notifications:

You can enable these notification options according to your specific needs.
Once done, you can also click on the Preview button to see what these email notifications would look like to you in your email inbox.

Click on the Close Preview button to close your message preview.

Now you’ll receive notifications for unread messages to the email address associated with your Chatway account.
You can also find the option to customize the emails sent to your visitors when they go offline, containing the unread messages. You can change the email sender’s name, subject line and many more. Please follow the separate guide here.
