This guide will show you how to set app notifications on your Android devices.
By following this guide, you can turn on/off the app notifications and set how notifications display or behave.
Step 1: After installing the Chatway app and logging in for the first time, you will be asked if you want to allow notifications. You just need to tap “Allow” and that’s it.
Step 2: If you selected “Don’t Allow” and would like to change it, you can tap the menu bar from the upper right to check the settings.
Step 3: Tap Notification Settings.
Step 4: You can then enable it by toggling on the option if you want to allow notifications on new messages when you are online and/or offline.
You can continue checking the steps below if your Android device is still not showing notifications despite having the above Chatway notifications enabled.
Please note that screenshots may vary from device model or custom OS version but they should look alike and with almost the same flow.
Step 5: On your Android device’s General Settings. Look for “Apps” and tap on it.
Step 6: You will see all the available app settings. Tap “Manage apps“.
Step 7: Look for the app to which you want to set the notifications and tap on it.
Step 8: You will see the App Info and scroll down to find “Notifications“.
Step 9: Tapping Notifications will give you access to more app notification settings with the option to disable the notifications at all using the toggle bar. Depending on your device (brand/model) and/or OS version, you may see similar options below.
