This guide will show you how to use the reminder functionality in Chatway.
What is the reminder functionality?
Reminders are a convenient way of scheduling a note to yourself or your team in the future, for the current conversation. It can be used to remind yourself of a call you planned with your client.
A reminder will then fire on the date you scheduled. You’ll receive a notification on all your Chatway devices (web app and mobile app), with the reminder note you submitted.
To create a reminder for a conversation, simply click on the calendar icon in the conversation, like in the example below:
Then, add your message and click on the “Set a Reminder” button.
Now, you can select the reminder date and time, choosing from a few preset options or a custom date and time.
You can choose between 1 hour, 3 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours.
Of course, you can add a custom time according to your needs – you just need to click on “Custom Time” and select your preferred time, choosing from 30 minute intervals.
Once the set time is reached, the message with the reminder will appear on top of your inbox, like so:
Important!: You’ll only get emails for the reminders if you’re offline and you haven’t read your reminder for over 10 minutes.
You may now check your email for a reminder notification. You can see what it will look like in the image below.
And that’s it! Don’t forget to check our entire Chatway knowledge base to make the most out of it.
