In this guide, we’ll show you how you can use the Page Targeting feature. With Page Targeting, you can set to show or hide the Chatway widget only on specific pages or domains.
Let’s start!
Step #1: Open your Chatway dashboard and click on the settings icon on top of your Chatway profile picture in the bottom left corner.

Step #2: You will see the Widget Settings. Scroll down and look for Page Targeting then toggle to enable it.

Step #3: Enter the domain where you want to show/hide the Chatway widget.

Step #4: Select a rule.

Step #5: Enter the page URL.

Use Case 1: If you want to show the Chatway widget on the help articles only, you can choose the rule Pages starting with and enter “help” under the Page field. The Chatway widget will then show on all the pages that starts with https://chatway.app/help.

Use Case 2: If you want to show the Chatway widget on the contact us page only (https://chatway.app/contact-us) , choose the rule A specific page and enter “contact-us” under the Page field.

Step #6: Once you’re done adding the rule. Please don’t forget to hit Publish for it to take effect.

You can also find the option to Add another rule and the trash icon to delete a rule.
