In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable the live translation and choose your preferred chat language.
When your visitor’s browser language is different from your account’s default language, it gets detected automatically and the Enable Translation button appears. Once the translation is enabled, the conversation will get translated in real-time.
Please note it’s a Pro feature, it is also included in your 14-days Pro trial period. You can use the Live Translation in the web version and mobile app.
Let’s start!
Step 1: On your Chatway dashboard, click the settings icon in the bottom left corner of your Chatway screen.

Step 2: Click Profile.

Step 3: Choose your preferred chat language. The translation option will only appear when the visitor’s browser language differs from your preferred language. For example, if your preferred chat language is English and your visitor’s browser language is English, the Enable Translation button will not show.

If you want to always show the translation option regardless of the visitor’s browser language, toggle on the Always show the option to translate the conversation to your preferred language.

Step 4: When you’re done, don’t forget to click Save Changes for the changes to take effect.

Please see below image on how the translate button would look like.
