In this guide we’ll show you how to enable a real-time display of what visitors are typing.
This feature provides a real-time display of what visitors are typing before they send their messages. This enables agents to respond more quickly and effectively, improving the overall customer experience. By anticipating needs and preparing responses in advance, agents can offer more efficient and timely support, leading to higher customer satisfaction and increased conversion rates.
Enabling this feature may lead to non-compliance with GDPR. If option for not tracking is enabled in any browser, you won’t be able to see the visitor typing in realtime.
Let’s dive in!
Step 1: Start by opening your Chatway dashboard and click on the settings icon on top of your Chatway profile picture in the bottom left corner:

Step 2: From the page that will open, select “Privacy Settings”.

Step 3: Enable the “See what visitors are typing in realtime” toggle.

And that’s it. Now you’ll see what your customers are typing in realtime!

Please note that this particular feature is only available with our Pro Plan. If you’re currently on the free plan, you will need to upgrade to the Pro version in order to use it.
