With Chatway’s Response Time display feature, you can add a short, customizable message under the chat header to clearly communicate your typical response time. This not only builds trust and transparency but also encourages users to initiate a conversation knowing they’ll hear back soon. In the following steps, we’ll guide you through enabling and modifying this text to best match your support availability.

Step 1. Open your Chatway dashboard and click on the settings icon on top of your Chatway profile picture in the bottom left corner.

Step 2: Scroll down and click More Customization.

Step 3: Toggle on the Response Time to display.

Step 4: You can edit the default text.

Don’t forget to hit the publish button to save the changes. You can see how it looks below, depending on your widget customizations.
