In this guide, we’ll show you how to display Frequently Asked Questions in your Chatway widget.
Displaying FAQs in your widget can dramatically enhance the overall user experience by providing quick and easy access to answers for common questions. Users appreciate convenience, and the ability to find relevant information instantly without having to navigate through multiple pages or wait for customer support helps them make faster decisions. A well-organized FAQ can reduce frustration, keeping visitors engaged and reducing bounce rates!
Let’s start!
Step 1: Open your Chatway dashboard and click on the settings icon on top of your Chatway profile picture in the bottom left corner.

Step 2: It will open the Widget Settings, click Enable FAQs.

Step 3: Click the pen icon to edit the pre-added FAQ.

Step 4: When you finish editing, please don’t forget to hit Save FAQ.

Step 5: At the top, you will see three Display settings, which are Hide, New Tab and Current Tab.
Hide – If this tab is active, your FAQs will not be visible in your Chatway modal.

New Tab – If this tab is active, you will see a new tab named “FAQ” and when you will click on that tab, you will see your FAQs.

Current Tab – If this tab is active, you will see the FAQs in the same Chatway modal window from where your visitors initiate the chat.

Step 6: You will see the preview on the right on how your widget would like. Hit Publish for the changes to take effect.
