Customizing the outgoing emails sent to your visitors helps you create a more professional, branded experience. In this guide, we’ll show you how to personalize these emails by setting the sender’s name, editing the subject line, uploading your logo, removing the Chatway branding, adding a header message, and adjusting visual elements like fonts, background colors, and action button styles — so every email feels like a natural extension of your brand.
Let’s start!
Step 1: Start by opening your Chatway dashboard and clicking on the settings icon on top of your Chatway profile picture in the bottom left corner.

Step 2: From the page that will open, click on Notifications.

Step 3: Under Outgoing emails to visitors, you can find the option to change the sender’s name and subject line.

Step 4: Click the Email Customization to see more options. You can upload your own logo, add an email header text, change the body text that appears after the conversation, hide the Chatway branding, change the email body font, change the background color, change the action button background color, and change the action button text color.
You can click the Preview button to see how it looks before saving it.

That’s it! Don’t forget to hit the Save Changes button for the changes to take effect.
