The Chatway Affiliate Program lets you earn commission by referring customers to Chatway.

You receive 20% commission on successful payments made by customers you refer. You receive 20% commission on successful payments made by customers who sign up through your referral link.

Your commission can apply to:

  • The customer’s initial subscription
  • Recurring subscription renewals
  • Upgrades
  • Downgrades, if the customer is still on a paid plan
  • Purchased AI credits

This guide explains how the program works, how your commission is calculated, what you can see in your affiliate dashboard, and how you can request a payment.

How the Chatway Affiliate Program Works

For example, if a referred customer makes a successful $50 payment, your commission is:

20% of $50 = $10

If the customer makes another eligible $50 payment later, you can earn another $10 commission from that payment.

When does commission apply?

Commission is applied only to completed payments.

Your commission continues while the referred customer’s paid plan subscription is active. This means your commission is based on the successful payments made by your referred customers, rather than simply the number of people who sign up.

You can request a payment when your balance is more than $100.

Commission from AI credits

You can also earn 20% commission when a referred customer purchases AI credits. Users with more than $0 in purchased AI credits are included in the Active Paying Users count.

Step 1: Click on the settings icon on your Chatway dashboard and go to “Affiliate Program”.

Step 2: Click on the “Create My Referral Link” button. This way, Chatway creates a unique referral link for you. 

Step 3: Once you create your referral link, you can see information about your referrals and earnings.

You’ll see information such as:

  • Referral Link: This is the referral link that you can copy and share with the customers you’d like to refer.
  • Current Balance: Earned commission that has not been transferred to you yet.
  • Lifetime Earnings: Shows your total earnings so far.
  • Total Sign-ups: Shows how many users have signed up through your referral link.
  • Active Paying Users: Shows the total number of users who are active and using a paid Chatway plan, or have purchased AI credits. For the AI credits category, users are counted when they have more than $0 in purchased AI credits.

Step 4: Please be sure to add your PayPal email here.

Step 5: When your balance is more than $100, you can select “Request Payout”.

Note: Affiliate payments can take up to 45 days to be processed. However, payments are usually processed much faster.

You’ll get an email when you request a payment. The email confirms that Chatway has received your payment request and is processing it.

Note: Refunds are handled from your affiliate balance. When a payment related to your affiliate commission is refunded, the corresponding amount is adjusted through your affiliate balance. For more details, you can also review our terms of service here.
